Work
A selection from the last three years. Most projects run between four and nine months from manuscript to press.
Coastal Field Notes
A field guide to shore plants and birds for a regional nature society. 240 pages, two spot colours, sewn and bound in a flexible cover that survives a wet pocket. We drew the range maps from the society's survey data and set the species entries on a strict grid so they can be scanned at a glance.
Letters from the Lighthouse
A reissue of letters written by a lighthouse keeper between 1931 and 1938. New transcriptions, an introduction, notes and a full index. The letters keep their original line breaks; the notes sit in the outer margin so the reader never has to turn to the back.
A Quiet Serif
A 32-page specimen for a text typeface still in development: sizes from 7 to 48 points, paragraphs in four languages and a page of figures and fractions for tables.
